Performance as Expression
When I perform, I create an artistic experience out of personal, raw emotion. I love creating pieces that are directly correlated to personal experience but I also love creating character pieces where I can take you into a different world with me.
Creating an entire act requires not only attention to choreography and movement that expresses the necessary emotion, but also in choosing the perfect song, adding in voice overs, creating the atmosphere that coincides with the character or emotion portrayed, creating projections or designing a set, choosing the perfect costume and then, of course, creating a stage presence for said expression.
Each act that I create, whether for myself or another, is completely unique to that which I intend to portray.
I have produced many shows in my time as an instructor and production artist. From the inception to fruition, it is always a unique and highly detailed process. The moment it comes to life is the moment those months and months of preparation all come together for its time to shine.
I always pour my heart and soul into each and every project that I undertake and it has been such an honor to have been a part of so many different projects and I cannot wait to be a party of so many more.

performance and instruction.
