How I Became a Top Performance & Production Artist

When I was young, I always loved to create fun dance routines and mini shows to perform for my family. It has always been a passion of mine to express through movement. Throughout my years, I tried so many types of performance. I was on cheer teams, dance teams, gymnastics teams, etc. It wasn't until I was 20 that I discovered the performance art that was the perfect fit for me. I saw it and just knew that this would be the one.

My passion for aerial arts quickly consumed me in all aspects. It was the first art that I just understood naturally. It all clicked for me. I learned the art and performed at a small studio until I became I teacher and started to share my passion with others and I quickly discovered a higher purpose. One thing lead to another and I was suddenly producing shows for my students to showcase their skills! The shows grew bigger until they were full scale productions. I was then choreographing such intricate, characterized pieces that these students were doing a beautiful job of showcasing not only their own skills but bringing my creative visions to life as well.

Alongside creating shows, I've performed for various artwalks, music festivals, dance clubs,

corporate events, other studio shows, parties and more!

I realized I had more potential than I ever thought possible in this art. Now, being a retired teacher, I am focusing on expressing everything in me that desires to be expressed. I am not the type of aerialist that sticks to one routine. I love creating new routines to express different parts of me through song, movement and dance.

It is through this art that I get to share little pieces of my soul.
